Curious on what factory head would be better on my 2002 4.8. Factory has the 862 heads. I’ve been offered a 5.3 block with 243 heads on it for $300. Would the stock 243 heads work better on it than the 862 heads? Obviously they need to go to the machine shop to be looked over but without any alterations to the stock form, which is the better ....
