The 7040 is rated at 64hp and should handle the 5410 easily. I have a JD 5210 (45hp) and I pull a Vermeer 5400 Rebel easily however most of my ground is very flat. I don't think you would have any problem with the 7040 however I can't say for sure as I don't know exactly how hilly it is.
