Remember that when the 9422 was first released in ~1972, Winchester had a serious black eye because of rimfires such as the 190/290, etc. Those guns were pieces of crap (no offense intended) and the 9422 restored the workmanship and quality that Winchester had been known for in their pre-64 rimfires. stewbud.I see that Numrich doesn't even list the elevator which is kind of weird since it doesn't appear to come with the rear sight assembly like some of the other Winchester models.
