Hey sir, tagging in here. I just built up a 7 PRC on a 22” proof prefit and terminus action. I’ve shot factory ELD-M and CX through it to this point (120 rounds). As you can see, the 160gr and 175gr 7mm PRC loads are actually the flattest shooting loads of the bunch. Though the 165gr ABLR load for the 6.8 Western tracks the 160gr CX pretty closely, it still has about a half inch more bullet drop than the CX load and nearly two inches more bullet drop than the 175gr ELD-X load at 500 yards.With the right combination of components they're encroaching 28 Nosler speeds with 195's and as good or a little better speeds than a 7 saum still on the short barrel builds. The 7 prc is a very efficient cartridge. Love my 7 saum still, however one of the new 7's may get added to the collection when there's more brass options available.
