Cloaking has it's niche uses and I love it. Recently I was playing a war, got cloaking tech early, and used my cloaked fleet to sneak behind enemy lines and destroy their shipyards, crippling the enemy's abilities to reinforce their fleets. This was enough to push the scales in my favor. I absolutely love that cloaking isn't the be all end all ...End game is the blokkats or the compound (rip). End game crisis trigger at your end game year, or after the vanilla end game crisis.
