For a long time I've heard how great this game was, boy I had no Idea it was so much fun. I'm level 30 Nord, typical brut, opening my way in the land by sword and strength. Recently I lost Lydia my first and only companion, below the city of Solitude, in the sewers fighting against Thoron's. It was a difficult thing to kill that dude.Lydia Disappeared. Other followers still say I have a follower, but no how long I wait or fast travel she won't show up. I usually use a mod that puts a quest tracker where followers disappeared to.If it fails it means she is still tied to you. Step 2: do a quest like the sleeping skull one with that Dawnstar priest or the companions, anything that has a part where you are forced to switch companions. Your current companion, in this case Lydia, will leave and return to the Jarl's castle or Breezehome.

I lost Lydia in Blackreach and I spent 2 hours looking for her and finally gave up and saved and went back to my house to see if she was there... she wasn't.
