Take the bullseye & insert in the hole. It will usually stick out. put some. tape around the hole to protect the wood finish. Take a fingernail file & file the bullseye so. the contour matches the wood . Make sure it is even. Take the tape off & rub a drop of oil. there. It has a round 20 inch barrel and may not have an original buttstock since it has the "Marlin bullseye" inset in the heel. The buttstock also has a black plastic butt plate rather than a curved metal one.Thanks, guys.
