Apr 27, 2018 · The 230/232 is a little lighter and a little sleeker than the Beretta, and carries better, IMHO. But honestly, I think the Bersa is very good choice in a PP sized .380 and I do not know if a 230/232 will give you any practical improvement in accuracy, reliability, or durability. It is, without a doubt, more classy.When Sig came out with the P232 they said that there were around 60 or so changes/improvements made from the previous P230. They both offer great accuracy for weapons of their size and have a similar capacity of 7+1 rounds.The Sig is a slimmer, lighter, (only in the alloy framed models), but very competent pistol. It gives up to the Beretta magazine capacity, 1 or 6 depending on the model. The stainless model weighs about the same as the Beretta. Here's what I've learned in the last 24 hours. 1. The takedown lever is the same part for both P230 and P232. 2. The slide stop block is different between the two models; the P232 block is thicker in the area where the lever shaft is inside vs. the P230 block. SIG is kind of funny with their idea of "compact". There is really little difference between their full size and compact pistols, and the P230/232 are the smallest and show the biggest difference in size. The P232, while not tiny, is lightweight and slim, especially when compared to any of the other SIG's.I have been looking for one for a friend and found one only for a Sig p232 (hence my question) hidden behind lots of others at my LGS, price $59.95. Feb 25, 2013 · I've got both they're great guns apples and oranges really. .380 vs 9mm/.40/.357. For concealment the 232 feels smaller than its dimensions and hides easily in a crossbreed iwb holster besides it shoots great.
