No doubt there's a way to do it with a Subaru select monitor, but finding someone willing to hook up the scanner and dig around in the settings will be tricky. Simple fix... Buy a spare seatbelt buckle and pop it in the latch when you go get the mail.It's in the owners manual. Mine is disabled. Edit: it has something to do with turning the car on into ACC mode, then doing what another person said and removing/inserting the driver seatbelt a bunch. In my experience, it chimes when you unbuckle before putting the car in park.8) Use a LOW WATTAGE (to prevent damage) soldering iron with a small pointed tip and solder remover to remove the solder from the 2 pins on the backside of the board. 9) Gently remove chime (buzzer). If solder residue remains you may have to alternately heat pins and rock it out of the board while gently pulling on it.

Start the vehicle and then proceed with your pre-drive routine, before you shift out of park, lean forward a bit, unfasten seatbelt that is behind you then bring it in front of you and fasten as normal. No need to do any wiring hacks or mess with dummy male ends.
